NGC-7142 is a nice large open cluster and shares the frame with NGC-7129, a reflection nebula located just to the SW (down and right) from 7142. NGC-7129 is a beautiful object in itself, and is commonly called The Rosebud Nebula. Both are located in the constellation of Cepheus the King.
This image acquired on October 2, 2025, is a 3 hour 20 minute integration of 2 minute exposures through the Astro-Tech AT-92 92mm APO triplet refractor using the ZWO 2600MC Pro CMOS color camera. Captured and combined using NINA and PixInsight. Post processed using PhotoShop 2026.
