NGC-7640 Galaxy in Andromeda

NGC-7640 is a type SBc barred spiral galaxy in Andromeda. Discovered in 1786 by Sir William Herschel, it lies over 30 million light years from Earth. Visually, it is 11th magnitude, and is 10 arc minutes in size. This image was obtained on September 26th, 2025. It is a 2 Hour 32 minute integration of 2 minute exposures through the AT-92 92mm f/5.5 APO refractor, using the ZWO 2600MC Pro camera cooled to 0 degrees and binned 1 X 1. Captured in NINA, guided by PHD2. Post processed in PixInsight and PhotoShop 2025.
