NGC-2403 Galaxy in Camelopardalis

NGC-2403 is a large (20' x 12') inclined spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Camelopardalis. It lies 9 million light years from Earth, and is a member of the M-81 group. NGC-2403 is an active star formation galaxy, which accounts for the blue color of the spiral arms.
This image was captured on March 21, 2026, and is a 2 hour 20 minute integration of 60 second exposures through the Astro-Tech AT-92 92mm f/5.5 APO Refractor using the ZWO 2600MC Pro CMOS color camera, cooled to -5 degrees and binned 1 X 1. Processed in PixInsight, post-processed in PhotoShop 2026 using levels, curves, smart sharpen, RC Astro's Gradient Xterminator and Noise Xterminator.
