M-33 Galaxy in Triangulum

M-33 is a type Sc galaxy in our local galaxy group. It is the third largest galaxy in this group, after M-31 and our Milky Way galaxy. It lies 2.7 million light years from Earth.
NOTE: This image is THE LAST IMAGE TAKEN AT LAND OF OZ OBSERVATORY before it was shut down in January of 2025.
A 46 minute integration of 2 minute exposures through the Celestron C-11 using the Starizona f/6.3 reducer/corrector and the ZWO 2600MC Pro camera, cooled to 0 degrees and binned 1 X 1. Captured with NINA, guided by PHD2, Processed in PixInsight and PhotoShop 2025.
