NGC-4631 a bright edge-on barred spiral galaxy in Canes Venatici. It lies 30 million light years from Earth, shines at 9.7 magnitude. It is distorted due to its interaction with the nearby companion galaxy, NGC-4637, and larger NGC-4656, to the SE. This has caused intense outbursts of star formation within the galaxy. This image is a 1 hour integration of 6 minute exposures through the C-11 at f/2 using the SXVR-H694C camera.
