VENUS TRANSIT

During the late afternoon of June 5th, 2012, the planet Venus transited across the face of the Sun. This photo was taken using the afocal method through the 25mm Eyepiece of a Meade 2045 4-inch Schmidt
Cassegrain telescope operating at f/10, using a Thousand Oaks metallic solar filter. Exposure was 1/125th of a second using a Canon Elph 340 digital camera.
